At SquareMatters we think that personal data should be handled responsibly. This is why personal data is processed exclusively under the General Data Protection Regulation. The following privacy statement aim to provide the users of this website with all information related to when and how personal data is processed and stored as well as how long the data is retained.
General Data Collection:
In no case SquareMatters retains data from visitors with no specific and intended purpose. We will never provide information about our visitors or customers to third parties. We will never store information without the direct permission of the visitor. We may record general information such as email addresses and telephone contacts that are submitted to us by the visitor, via our contact page. We do not use data from our visitors to deliver promotional content, newsletters, or other type of marketing means without self-initiated request, made to us by the visitor.
From the first preliminary contact, all data provided to us by the client will be safely stored and managed. We normally request the following information for each of our customers: company details, name and email address, telephone contact, company url. Depending on the type of request, other typologies of data may be retained. The information will typically include the detailed project/assignment description, the list of questions we asked to the client and the client’s answers.
Contact form: (General data collection) and (Client data) applies.When we receive calls or emails, we need to store your information in order to get back to you and answer your request. The very moment the request has been fullfilled, the information is deleted. In case of longer collaborations we store the client information for the full length of the collaboration. Once the collaboration, project, or task, is terminated the information is deleted.
We don’t send newsletter very often. This is not because we don’t believe in Newsletters, but mainly because we believe ‘quality’ will always be a better choice over ‘quantity’. However, we would like to be transparent about the purpose of our newsletters. You will receive our newsletters exclusively by requesting to be added. To do so you need to send us an email with the request. The email address use for the request will be therefore added to the next newsletter we send out. In the newsletters you will receive news about our latest projects, or news about the development of our professional field, or again useful information regarding trends and topic that are in line with the scopes of our professional services. In order to unsubscribe, simply send an email where you ask to be removed from the list. You will no longer receive newsletters from SquareMatters from that very moment.
We track visits using Google analytics. This is a non invasive methodology which allow to gather general data about the visitors behaviours. The data recorded data is anonymous.
Data retention period: When we believe your data is no longer needed we proceed with deleting all information from our system: (General data collection), (Client data), (Newsletters) applies.
We work hard to keep our system secured. However we do not respond of issues that may occur in our webpages. We strongly suggest our visitors to stay safe and use the available tools for a secured connection. In case we suspect personal data may have been acquired from our system, we will immediately inform everyone involved about it.
